About Project

Erol participated in the ‘Istanbul is Yours. Let's Decide Together for Your Future’ competition organized by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality in 2019. The competition called for the design of urban furniture and playgrounds. Erol made a compromise for his beloved Istanbul and developed a modular proposal with soft, inviting shapes. His design included details such as shades that collect rainwater to meet the needs of stray animals and solar panels that generate electricity.
